Folio in Red cloth with cover pictorial pasted on. 124 pages. Stunning pictures in the art deco style by Caroline Ruth Eger. Seven stories including The Lazy Automobile, Fire Engine That Grew Too Old, The Plane That Tried To Fly To The Sun, The Hungry Power Shovel and The Runaway Elevator. There were several editions of this very popular book two of which appear below.

COPY 1:The First edition: 1931 124 pages. Some scratching to the cover illustration and bottom corner of the cover has been bent. Interior has numerous closed page tears, most near the spine. No dus wrapper. No damage to any of the illustrations which are bright. Book is tight and unmarked. This is an extremely rare copy. Inventoy 7800 Price: $110.00

COPY 2: The 1944 edition in very nice condition, albeit without dust wrapper. 99 pages. Some bumping to spine ends and some water staining to spine. .Interior undamaged, unmarrked, bright and tight, Cover illustration with one very very tiny nick. Inventory # 8517 Price $80.00

Like the first volume of the Bookhouse series, Rimskittle was 'much loved' by the youngsters who owned it.
