Guy Arnoux, Illustrator 12 CHANSONS Boards. 10X13 inches. Unusual binding process. Each page is actually two: that is to say, a sheet folded over. No publisher or publishing venue mentioned. Arguably the most brilliantly colored of all Arnoux books. Pochoir: hand colored using stencils. Almost a century after its publication the images almost leap from the pages. 12 pages, to be precise, accompanying 12 songs. Illustrations accompanied by musical notation and verse for children's folk songs opposite each. Exceptionally rare. This copy with a somewhat tattered spine. Bottoims of pages deckled.
