COPY 2: As above in fine condition with the exception of some scratching of the cover illustration and very minor bumping of spine ends. Otherwise a bright and undamaged interior. Inventory # 8532 Price $60.00

In 1928 the publishers of My Bookhouse printed so many versions of the set that it would take a doctoral candidate to sort them out. – as you will discover below. Both the 1920-21 black faux leather six volume set and the 1925 green faux leather six volume set were re-printed.

AND it was in this year that the publishers decided to expand the 6 volume set to 12 volumes, presumably to make it more child-friendly. Each volume was broken into two. "In The Nursery," for example, became "In The Nursery"; and "Story Time." The text and illustrations are essentially the same as in the original edition – perhaps even a little brighter. In addition to the green and black faux leather bindings, a red binding was added.
