There are 17 leafs in the book, only 8 are printed, the ramainder as blanks front and back. Poems on the Seven Capital Sins by various poets, all illustrated by Detouche in watercolors each full page. Detouche's Dans les ronces (In the Brambles) 1898 is in the colection of the University of Michigan Art Gallery.
